Brief project description:
This project aims to strengthen and accelerate the growth of the company by developing an innovative product, a wooden geodesic dome, to the market readiness level, solving the problem of connecting wooden triangles with nonlinear metal elements that follow the spherical shape, ensuring easy assembly/disassembly of the dome, a strong connection, and waterproofing.
Project objectives and results:
In addition to creating new jobs and increasing production capacities, the project will impact the overall economy by creating resilient jobs, overall revenue growth, and a positive impact on foreign trade, particularly exports. The project goal and result are the development of new products:
- Innovative metal joint for wooden structures
- Glued laminated timber, dried according to experimental findings
- Geodesic dome, a rod system of construction made of glued laminated timber and a metal joint designed for quick and efficient assembly/disassembly.
